Adoration Chapel at Church of the Holy Name

The Perpetual Adoration Apostolate

The Perpetual Adoration Apostolate is an affirmative response of our parish to Jesus’ question, “Could you not watch one hour with Me?” Members pledge to spend one hour a week praying before the Blessed Sacrament in our Adoration Chapel, a quiet place that fosters intimacy with the Lord. Maintaining an around-the-clock vigil of prayer allows our church to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, making it possible for anyone to visit Jesus at any time. In our parish, in a most special way, Jesus is Emmanuel - God with us.

While members pray for a variety of personal and general intentions, we are uniquely the hourly pray warriors of our parish. Indeed, at every hour of the day and night there is someone praying before the Blessed Sacrament for the continuing spiritual, emotional, relational and physical needs of all our parishioners.

A warm welcome is extended to all to come and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding and to be the recipient of the rich graces and blessings that always flow from time spent in His Presence.
