At the end of Matthew's Gospel, Jesus commands us to "Go...and preach the Good News." One way to heed this command is to volunteer your time to the Church. We are in need of disciple mentors (catechists/teachers). Please prayerfully consider if Christ is calling you to impact young people's lives. The Diocese of Trenton requires a minimum of 33 hours of classroom instruction per grade level. This year, however, those hours are not mandated because of the pandemic. Classes meet from 9:00am--10:45am Sunday mornings. Approximately one Sunday per month is a work at home or week off. Again, however, because of the pandemic, classes will begin at home (remote). More information will be shared at the parent meeting which is scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd at 9:30am in Holy Name Church. Please see the calendar for more information or contact the office.

One requirement to move on to the next grade or receive Confirmation is the successful completion of the curriculum. 5th and 8th grade students take the ACRE test and 8th grade students also have service projects to complete. 2nd and 8th grade students will have retreats to attend for First Penance and First Holy Communion and for Confirmation respectively.
